Here we see things not as they are, but as they could be;
Here we defend the earth and all of its inhabitants;
Here we meet basic human needs, and walk with the poor
on the road to freedom and prosperity;
Here we unite humanity and celebrate the differences;
Here we pledge to make the earth a more secure and
     hospitable home for present and future generations;
